Juvenile Drug Court

          Phase IV is probably the most important phase of the program. This is the time when the client and family are given the opportunity to regain control of their lives and put into practice all they have learned and developed in the previous phases.
          Phase IV is a process of structured, ongoing monitoring of family and adolescent functioning.  It allows for individualized short-term intensive treatment services should the need arise.  For example, if the client were to relapse then the family's treatment would be intensified to meet this need.  Clients and families are never demoted to a lower phase, instead their services are increased to address the specific presenting problem. This allows for the provision of support for independent family functioning while maintaining continuous court supervision.
          Once a family has shown their ability to function without the need of direct services, that family is recommended for graduation
